In order for the merino cardigan to serve as long as possible, be sure to follow the washing recommendations included with the cardigan. They will guarantee its longevity. Delicate and soft knitted fabrics require gentle maintenance, based on washing in warm (but not hot!) water with products designed for washing wool fabrics.
